Residential

What we do inside your home.

  1. Replace an old, overloaded or recalled panel with one sized for how your home uses power today, from a single new circuit to a full 200 amp service.

  2. Whole home and partial rewires, added outlets where you actually need them, GFCI and AFCI protection, and dimmers and smart switches.

  3. Recessed lights, pendants, under cabinet strips, ceiling fans and landscape lighting, placed and switched the way you live in the space.

  4. Level 2 chargers in the garage or driveway, and standby or portable generator hookups with transfer switches so the lights stay on in an outage.

  5. Breakers that keep tripping, lights that flicker, outlets that run warm. We find the cause, fix it, and add surge, smoke and CO protection.

Common questions

Do you charge for quotes?

No. Quotes are free. Tell us about the job and we will set a time to come look at it.

Why don't you list prices?

No two jobs are the same. Where the panel sits, how far the wire has to run and what is behind the walls all change the work, so every job is quoted after we see it. The price is agreed with you before we start.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Maroof Electrical is a licensed and insured electrical contractor in Michigan.

Do you work on homes and businesses?

Both. We handle residential service and remodels as well as commercial builds, retrofits and maintenance.

What areas do you cover?

We work across Metro Detroit, including Detroit, Dearborn, Southfield, Warren, Livonia, Troy, Royal Oak, Sterling Heights and nearby cities.
